Abstracts are accepted for poster presentations: max 250 words. Four abstracts will be selected for a short oral presentation (10 minutes presentation + 5 minutes discussion).

GRANT APPLICATION

FEMS Young Scientist Meeting Grant (YSMG)

With the help of the FEMS society, we are pleased to announce a call for Young Scientist Meeting Grant (YSMG) application, to support their attendance at the Symposium Novel Anaerobes 2017, Braga, Portugal.

DEADLINE EXTENDED: JULY 20th, 2017

If you are eligible, and wish to apply for the FEMS Meeting Grant, fill out the YSMG application form (available in PDF and DOC format) and send it to carla.pereira@ceb.uminho.pt, together with a copy of the abstract.


REGULATIONS:

A young scientist applying for a YSMG grant should be:

1.      A member of a FEMS Member Society, confirmed by any officer of her/his society,

2.      Less than 36 years of age at the closing date of the meeting,

3.      An active microbiologist and

4.      A presenting author of the abstract.

Only grantees that are present at the Meeting will receive a grant.

The Young Scientist is to be granted a maximum of 600 EUR and a minimum of 250 EUR.
