On 5th and 6th July, the members of the External Advisory Committee (EAC) will visit CEB for the first time since the plan designed for the Evaluation Research Unit exercise in 2013. The EAC is a distinguished group of experts in Biotechnology and Bioengineering fields: Juan M. Lema, from the Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain; Claus-Michael Lehr, from the Department of Drug Delivery, Helmholtz Institute for Pharmaceutical Research, Saarland University, Germany; and Gérard Goma, from INSA, CNRS INRA, Toulouse, France.
The EAC has a very important role: to perform an internal monitoring of all the CEB’s activities, to provide counsel and actively supporting the design, supervision and implementation of actions needed to achieve CEB’s mission. From their advice, CEB will enhance research excellence, foster their strengths and improve on weaknesses.
The aim of this meeting is to present the outcomes of the 2015-2017 strategic plan of the unit and discuss the strategic program for 2018-2020. During two days, EAC will met the Direction Board, Principal Investigators, Researchers, and Postgraduate students to explain CEB general situation and each group research projects.
