General Information
Unique and innovative Doctoral Program in Portugal - for a new generation of highly qualified professionals, able to work in academia, industry, and other agents in the food sector. Of an interdisciplinary nature, the program is promoted by three prestigious Universities, recognized for their contributions to teaching and research in the food area, with a long tradition of academic collaboration and with a strong connection to the business fabric:
- University of Minho (Centre for Biological Engineering)
- Portuguese Catholic University (School of Biotechnology)
- University of Aveiro (Department of Chemistry)
By offering a wide range of scientific and technological research opportunities at three leading universities that complement each other in areas of expertise, this Programme enhances the creation of an environment in which students will be able to identify and develop unique advanced learning paths.
Program Duration:
- 4 Years (8 Semesters)
Duration of 8 semesters, curricular component (54 ECTS), and original thesis (186 ECTS) appropriate to the branches of knowledge of the Program defined based on the knowledge and academic, scientific and professional interests of each student.
