Description
The Master's degree in Chemical and Biological Engineering aims to train "Process Engineers" for industries where biological, chemical, or physical-chemical processes predominate. Its specific areas of intervention are located in multidisciplinary fields of Biological and Chemical Sciences and Technologies, in the Fermentation, Pharmaceutical, and Agri-Food Industries, in the Chemical Industry, and in the Biomedical and Environmental areas.

The Master in Chemical and Biological Engineering should achieve the following general learning objectives:
1. Demonstrate advanced knowledge in Chemical and Biological Engineering;
2. Apply the appropriate knowledge in the synthesis, analysis and design of processes and implementation of projects related to chemical and biological processes, integrating aspects related to quality management;
3. Integrate multidisciplinary teams for product development and projects in Chemical and Biological Engineering;
4. Develop innovative solutions and/or products in the area of chemical or biological technologies;
5. Reveal entrepreneurial and consulting skills in the specific areas of the course;
6. To highlight creativity, proactive attitude, and communication skills, as well as the permanent need to update knowledge;
7. Reveal leadership skills and at the same time be able to work in a team/network, with awareness of citizenship and eco-sustainable action.
